Use the correct bin
Empty packaging and sort it by material. If you are unsure, check the recycling label on the package before disposing of it.
- Food waste in the designated bag and container
- General waste in securely closed bags
- Paper, cardboard, plastic, metal and glass in their respective bins
Take these items elsewhere
The shared waste area is intended for normal household waste. Bulky or hazardous items should be taken to a recycling centre or another designated collection point.
- Furniture, large boxes and building materials
- Electronics, appliances and larger batteries
- Paint, chemicals and other hazardous waste
Keep the waste area easy to use
Flatten packaging, leave nothing on the floor and close lids and doors behind you. Contact the board if a bin is full or something is damaged.
